Washington High School Softball - Burlington-Edison bounces Archbishop Murphy
May 17, 2023: Burlington, WA 98233 Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Burlington-Edison will battle a Lions squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Archbishop Murphy falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Squalicum lost 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Lynden (Lynden, WA)
