Maine High School Softball - Boothbay topped by Mountain Valley
May 17, 2023: Rumford, ME 04276 The Mountain Valley Falcons softball team scored 29 runs and limited the visiting Boothbay Seahawks to 2 in the Falcons league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Mountain Valley moves its record to 2-10 on the year. The Falcons travel to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to clash with the Cougars in a Class C South game on Friday, May 19. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 4-5. Dirigo won 11-0 in their recent league game against Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME)
In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME) in a Class C South game, on Friday, May 19. Boothbay will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 6-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Telstar (Bethel, ME).
