May 17, 2023: DeRuyter, NY 13052 The Tully Black Knights softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host DeRuyter Rockets to 0 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Tully improves its record to 7-10 on the year. The Black Knights host Bishop Grimes (East Syracuse, NY) to clash with the Cobras in a Section 3 Patriot game on Friday, May 19. The Cobras come into the game with a record of 0-15. Bishop Grimes lost 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Phoenix (Phoenix, NY)
In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Madison Central Blue Devils (Madison, NY) in a Section 3 Central Counties - American game, on Thursday, May 18. DeRuyter will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 22-12 league loss to Stockbridge Valley (Munnsville, NY).
