New York High School Baseball - Lyme Central defeats Alexandria Central
May 17, 2024: Chaumont, NY 13622 Lyme Central Lakers (Chaumont, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Alexandria Central Purple Ghosts (Alexandria Bay, NY), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lyme Central upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Lakers travel to Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY) to battle the Panthers in a Section 3 Frontier D test on Saturday, May 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 16-2. Belleville Henderson Central won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY)
With the defeat, Alexandria Central falls to 6-8 on the season.
