Maine High School Baseball - Monmouth Academy defeats Mount Abram
May 17, 2024: Monmouth, ME 04259 Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 8-2 in a league test.
With the win, Monmouth Academy upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME) to battle the Phoenix in a Class C South test on Monday, May 20. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 2-10. Spruce Mountain lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME)
With the defeat, Mount Abram falls to 7-4 on the season. The Roadrunners travel to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME) to battle the Phoenix in a Class C South battle on Wednesday, May 22. The Phoenix enter the battle with a record of 2-11. Spruce Mountain lost 11-1 in their recent league battle against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME)
