Maryland High School Baseball - Patuxent nips Sparrows Point
May 17, 2024: Lusby, MD 20657 Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Patuxent upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fallston (Fallston, MD) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 15-5. Fallston won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD)
With the defeat, Sparrows Point falls to 12-10 on the season.
