New Jersey High School Softball - Elizabeth gets by Spotswood
May 17, 2024: Spotswood, NJ 08884 The Elizabeth Minutemen got by the host Spotswood Chargers softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Minutemen (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Freehold Township nudged Toms River South (Toms River, NJ), 9-7, in a non-league battle.
The Chargers now sport a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Memorial for a non-league battle on Monday, May 20. Spotswood will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-12.
