New Jersey High School Softball - Teaneck bounces Garfield
May 17, 2024: Garfield, NJ 07026 Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Highwaymen now own a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to NV - Demarest for a Big North - National challenge on Saturday, May 18. Teaneck will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Belleville (Belleville, NJ). The Norsemen record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, Garfield falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Boilermakers host Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) to face the Aviators in a NJIC - Meadowlands challenge on Monday, May 20. The Aviators enter the challenge with a record of 9-13. Hasbrouck Heights won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ)
