May 17, 2025: Torrington, CT 06790 The Torrington Raiders baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Bristol Eastern Lancers to 3 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.
The Raiders now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Seymour for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper test on Monday, May 19. Torrington will play a Wildcats team coming off a 20-0 league win over Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-4.
With the defeat, Bristol Eastern drops to 5-11 on the year. The Lancers host Bristol Central (Bristol, CT) to play the Rams in a Central Connecticut - South test on Monday, May 19. The Rams go into the test with a record of 7-6.
