Minnesota High School Baseball - Delano defeats Zimmerman
May 17, 2025: Zimmerman, MN 55398 The Delano Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Zimmerman Thunder to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now hold a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Family Catholic for a Wright County - East test on Monday, May 19. Delano will play a Fire team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN). The Fire record now stands at 11-6.
With the defeat, Zimmerman drops to 3-12 on the year. The Thunder travel to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to play the Bluejackets in a Mississippi 8 test on Monday, May 19. The Bluejackets go into the test with a record of 8-9. Cambridge-Isanti won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN)
