Michigan High School Soccer - Alpena knocks off Cheboygan
May 17, 2025: Alpena, MI 49707 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Alpena Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Cheboygan Chiefs.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the Big North outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Petoskey was overwhelmed by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 19. Cheboygan will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Elks go into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, MI).
