Illinois High School Baseball - Hersey loses to Libertyville
May 17, 2025: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), 11-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Libertyville advances its record to 17-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 21. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 5-5. Warren Township won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL)
The Huskies now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palatine for a non-league match on Monday, May 19. Hersey will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 9-10.
