Maine High School Lacrosse - Marshwood drops to Freeport
May 17, 2025: Freeport, ME 04032 Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), 13-7 in a league battle.
With the victory, Freeport advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Falcons host North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 3-1. North Yarmouth Academy won 10-7 in their recent league battle against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME)
The Hawks now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornton Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. Marshwood will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 7-1.
