May 17, 2025: Carson City, MI 48811 Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Carson City-Crystal improves its record to 5-14 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State game on Wednesday, May 21. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-12. St. Charles won 14-1 in their recent league game against Montabella (Blanchard, MI)
The Wildcats now hold a 7-20 record. They play next when they travel to Montabella for a non-league game on Monday, May 19. Lakeview will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-15.
