Indiana High School Softball - Cathedral sneaks past East Central

The Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) softball nipped the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 23-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorktown for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 20. Cathedral will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 13-3 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, East Central moves to 13-6 on the season. The Trojans host Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to encounter the Pirates in a Eastern Indiana outing on Monday, May 19. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 15-2. Greensburg won 5-4 in their recent league outing against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
