The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) and the visiting Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), observed Center Grove's softball team prevail over Franklin Community by a tally of 11-1.

The Trojans (17-3) will now prepare for their bout against Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 15-11 record. In their last bout, Tri-West Hendricks knocked off North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN), 14-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Grizzly Cubs clash with the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) in a Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Franklin Community will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 7-4 league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IN).
