The Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND) softball routed the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 23-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Squirrels now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enderlin for a Class B - Region 1 outing on Monday, May 19. Central Cass will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 11-10 league win over Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Maple River moves to 13-8 on the season.
