In Saturday's non-league test, the Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) softball squad got by the visiting Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ), by a tally of 11-10.

Next, the Comets meet the Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 19. Hackensack will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record.

The Cougars (8-10) will now prepare for their test against New Milford (New Milford, NJ). The Knights go into the NJIC - Patriot test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, New Milford was nudged by Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ), 5-4, in a league test.
