May 17, 2025: Macomb, MI 48044 Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI), 10-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Dakota improves its record to 20-8 on the year. The Cougars host Trenton (Trenton, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, May 17. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 12-7. Trenton lost 10-9 in their recent league game against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI)
The Cougars now hold a 13-15 record. They play next when they host Walled Lake Central for a non-league game on Sunday, May 18. South Lyon East will play a Vikings squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 12-13.
