The Lodi Rams edged the visiting Tenafly Tigers softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams play the Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) in a NJIC - Meadowlands challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. Lodi will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Boilermakers enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 14-0 league loss to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ).

The Tigers (5-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts enter the non-league challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Eastside was nudged by Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 12-0, in a league challenge.
