May 17, 2025: Tawas City, MI 48763 The Tawas Area Braves overwhelmed the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers softball squad by a count of 10-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. Tawas Area will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 13-6 league loss to Garber (Essexville, MI).
The Chargers (5-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Beavers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-17 record. In their last challenge, Beaverton was routed by Lake Fenton (Linden, MI), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
