May 18, 2023: Evanston, IL 60201 Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), 11-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carmel upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Corsairs travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, May 19. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-3.
With the defeat, Evanston falls to 20-9 on the season. The Wildkits host Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, May 20. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-1.
