Michigan High School Baseball - Brighton gets by Kalamazoo Central
May 18, 2024: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Clarkston (Clarkston, MI) to battle the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, May 23. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 11-15.
With the defeat, Kalamazoo Central falls to 14-12 on the season. The Maroon giants host Central (Battle Creek, MI) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Monday, May 20. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 3-21. Central lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI)
