Illinois High School Baseball - York defeats Prospect
May 18, 2024: Elmhurst, IL 60126 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, York upgrades its record to 26-8 on the season. The Dukes travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to battle the Redhawks in a non-league test on Monday, May 20. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 16-13. Naperville Central won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)
With the defeat, Prospect falls to 17-13 on the season. The Knights host Cary-Grove (Cary, IL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, May 20. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 19-14. Cary-Grove won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)
