The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Canton Eagles (Canton, TX) and the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), saw Canton's softball squad achieve victory over Van Alstyne by a count of 10-0.

The Eagles now sport a 30-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aubrey for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 21. Canton will face a Chaparrals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 32-4.
