South Dakota High School Softball - Redfield bounces Chamberlain
May 18, 2024: Redfield, SD 57469 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) and the visiting Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), witnessed Redfield's softball squad prevail over Chamberlain by a count of 31-0.
The Pheasants now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Deuel for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 21. Redfield will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Chamberlain moves to 0-16 on the season. The Cubs travel to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD) to face the Tigers in a Class A match on Saturday, May 18. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 12-4. Mobridge-Pollock won 19-0 in their recent non-league match against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD)
