Michigan High School Softball - Dakota bounces Oakridge
May 18, 2024: Macomb, MI 48044 Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oakridge Eagles (Muskegon, MI), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walled Lake Northern for a non-league challenge on Sunday, May 19. Dakota will battle a Knights squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, MI). The Knights record now stands at 18-3.
With the loss, Oakridge falls to 20-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Sunday, May 19. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 24-5. Woodhaven won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI)
