Michigan High School Softball - Marine City bounces North Branch
May 18, 2024: North Branch, MI 48461 Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Mariners now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Marysville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. Marine City will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, North Branch falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Almont (Almont, MI) to battle the Raiders in a Blue Water Area challenge on Tuesday, May 21. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-11.
