May 18, 2024: Grand Rapids, MI 49315 The Utica Ford Falcons softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host South Christian Sailors to 3 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons (15-9) will now prepare for their battle against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI). The Eagles go into the Macomb Area - Red battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Utica Eisenhower was routed by Hartland (Hartland, MI), 9-6, in a non-league battle.
The Sailors now sport a 14-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wayland for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle on Monday, May 20. South Christian will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-6.
