Michigan High School Softball - South Lyon East knocked off by Grand Haven
May 18, 2025: Grand Haven, MI 49417 The Grand Haven Buccaneers overwhelmed the visiting South Lyon East Cougars softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Sunday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Buccaneers meet the Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red challenge, on Friday, May 23. Grand Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 17-7 league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
The Cougars (15-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Central was routed by Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI), 13-3, in a non-league challenge.
