Illinois High School Soccer - Sycamore knocks off Ottawa
May 19, 2021: Ottawa, IL 61350 Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), 11-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 22. Sycamore will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 12-0 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
The Pirates now possess a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian Creek for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 20. Ottawa will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-4.
