Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-12 record.

With the loss, Liberty Christian falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Traders Point Christian (Whitestown, IN) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Traders Point Christian lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN)
