May 19, 2025: Birch Run, MI 48415 Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), 8-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Mt. Morris moves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI) to battle the Marauders in a Mid-Michigan match on Thursday, May 22. The Marauders come into the match with a record of 7-12. Ovid-Elsie lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Durand (Durand, MI)
The Panthers now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a non-league match on Friday, May 23. Birch Run will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-13.
