May 19, 2025: Lowell, MA 01851 The Georgetown Royals baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Lowell Catholic Crusaders to 4 in the Royals non-league win on Monday.
The Royals now hold a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Ipswich for a CAL Baker test on Tuesday, May 20. Georgetown will play a Tigers team coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-12.
With the defeat, Lowell Catholic drops to 8-8 on the year. The Crusaders host Tyngsborough (Tyngsborough, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-15. Tyngsborough won 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Littleton (Littleton, MA)
