Ohio High School Baseball - Monroeville nips Western Reserve
May 19, 2025: Monroeville, OH 44847 The Monroeville Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders to 5 in the Eagles league win on Monday.
The Eagles now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary Central Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. Monroeville will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Northwood (Northwood, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 14-10.
With the defeat, Western Reserve drops to 8-11 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to play the Redskins in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 3-18. Port Clinton lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
