The Big Walnut Golden Eagles triumphed over the visiting Canal Winchester Indians softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles play the Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 21. Big Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH).

The Indians (9-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Westerville Central edged Westerville South (Westerville, OH), 19-6, in a non-league challenge.
