Clearview Pioneers (Mullica Hill, NJ) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ), 12-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Clearview upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Pioneers host Washington Township (Sewell, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a Tri-County - Royal game on Tuesday, May 20. The Minutemen enter the game with a record of 6-13.

The Colts now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Millville for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. Cumberland will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 10-8.
