The Frankton Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Tipton Blue Devils to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mississinewa for a Central Indiana battle on Thursday, May 22. Frankton will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-0 league win over Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Indians record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Tipton moves to 6-16 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 22.
