New Hampshire High School Softball - Lin-Wood topped by Woodsville
May 19, 2025: Woodsville, NH 03785 Woodsville Engineers (Woodsville, NH) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lin-Wood Lumberjacks (Lincoln, NH), 16-4 in a league game.
With the triumph, Woodsville improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Engineers host Gorham (Gorham, NH) to clash with the Huskies in a Division IV bout on Wednesday, May 21. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Gorham lost 26-10 in their recent league bout against Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH)
In their next game, the Lumberjacks clash with the Lisbon Panthers (Lisbon, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Lin-Wood will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 20-17 league win over Groveton (Groveton, NH).
