Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI), 7-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lansing Catholic advances its record to 22-2 on the season. The Cougars host Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to battle the Comets in a non-league match on Thursday, May 21. The Comets come into the match with a record of 14-9. Grand Ledge won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)

The Hornets now have a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 26. Williamston will battle a Redhawks squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Redhawks record now stands at 9-9.
