Kentucky High School Baseball - Sayre loses to Scott County
Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY), 11-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Scott County upgrades its record to 22-12 on the season. The Cardinals host Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to battle the Defenders in a District 42 test on Tuesday, May 21. The Defenders come into the test with a record of 16-19. Bryan Station won 6-4 in their recent league test against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
With the defeat, Sayre falls to 20-10 on the season.
