Connecticut High School Baseball - Woodstock Academy defeats Ledyard
May 20, 2021: Ledyard, CT 06339 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) and the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), saw Woodstock Academy's baseball squad beat Ledyard by a margin of 9-2.
Coming up next, the Centaurs play the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 22. Woodstock Academy will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Whippets enter the battle with a 1-14 record after their 12-0 league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
The Colonels now sport a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host East Lyme for a Eastern Connecticut - South battle on Friday, May 21. Ledyard will play a Vikings squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 7-5.
