Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Addison Panthers (Addison, MI), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homer for a Big 8 challenge on Tuesday, May 24.

With the loss, Addison falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Concord (Concord, MI) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 26. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. Concord lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI)
