Illinois High School Baseball - Lemont defeats Andrean
May 20, 2023: Lemont, IL 60439 Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN), 9-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lemont upgrades its record to 27-6 on the season. The Lemont HS host Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 24. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 11-21. Hinsdale South won 7-1 in their recent league test against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL)
With the defeat, Andrean falls to 21-6 on the season. The Fighting 59ers host St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, May 22. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 24-10. St. Rita lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
