Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Western upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to battle the Argylls in a non-league test on Monday, May 22. The Argylls come into the test with a record of 15-11. Madison-Grant won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN)

With the defeat, Cascade falls to 18-7 on the season. The Cadets travel to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 20.
