Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Western Wayne loses to Hanover Area

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes baseball team scored a tight 12-8 victory over the Western Wayne Wildcats.

The Hawkeyes (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Scranton Prep was overwhelmed by West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 11-7, in a league contest.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Honesdale for a Lackawanna 2 contest on Wednesday, May 24. Western Wayne will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 17-4.
