Fairfield Christian Academy Knights (Lancaster, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fairfield Christian Academy upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Northmor (Galion, OH) to battle the Golden Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 22. The Golden Knights come into the test with a record of 22-5. Northmor won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)

With the defeat, Elgin falls to 15-9 on the season.
