New Jersey High School Baseball - St. Joseph holds off Hunterdon Central
May 20, 2024: Flemington, NJ 08822 St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ), 11-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 6-19 on the season. The Falcons travel to Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 12-12. Steinert won 11-4 in their recent league test against Princeton (Princeton, NJ)
With the defeat, Hunterdon Central falls to 13-10 on the season. The Red devils travel to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, May 23. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 12-13. Watchung Hills Regional lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ)
