Michigan High School Soccer - Brighton knocks off Franklin
May 20, 2024: Livonia, MI 48150 Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), 9-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 22. Brighton will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI).
The Patriots now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Churchill for a Kensington Lakes challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Franklin will confront a Chargers team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Plymouth (Canton, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 3-11.
