Massachusetts High School Softball - Andover bounces Wakefield Memorial
May 20, 2024: Wakefield, MA 01880 Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Warriors now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dracut for a Merrimack Valley - Conf 1 challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Andover will face a Middies squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Middies record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Wakefield Memorial falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to North Andover (North Andover, MA) to face the Scarlet Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. The Scarlet Knights enter the challenge with a record of 10-0.
